PEROIDIC CLASSIFICATION OF ELEMENTS  EARLY ATTEMPT TO CLASSIFY ELEMENTS: Early chemists arranged elements on basis of valency, metallic and non metallic character. This method was discarded as elements showed variable valency and dual character.  DOBEREINER’S TRIADS: In 1815, Dobereiner arranged elements in increasing order of atomic weights. • Elements were arranged in groups of three called triads. • Atomic weight of the middle element was found generally to be the average weight of the other two. • Method was discarded since it did not hold true for all elements.For more info visit: https://www.youtube.com/theopenbook

The Middle Age The fall of the Roman Empire marked the beginning of a new age in the history of Europe and most historians refer to it as the Dark Ages or the Middle Age. The name Dark Age was given by the Italian scholar and poet Petrarch as during this time he felt Latin literature and art were declining. This has come under question as the name is used to denote the period from5th to 10th centuries where there were intermittent periods of intellectual advance and periods of lull. The Vietnam War

The Vietnam War was the longest war that the USA was involved in. Vietnam is a nation in South East Asia bordering the Indonesian peninsula. During the First World War the Japanese attacked it and wanting to free itself from the French colonial power and Japan HO Chi Minh inspired by communist ideals set up the Viet Minh or League of independence for Vietnam. Japan lost the war and backed out of Vietnam. Seizing this opportunity Ho Chi Minh wanted to set up a government independent of other countries. Emperor Bao Dai was in control of Vietnam at this time. He too wanted an independent country but the only problem was he wanted the economy to be on western capitalist lines while Minh wanted it to be communist. https://www.youtube.com/theopenbook
