In Hindu #Mythology #Lord #Ganesha has a unique stature. He is first worshipped before any auspicious occasion starts. He is said to ne the destroyer of all obstacles and praying to him means no enemy can ruin us. Popular stories about his wisdom have done the rounds and it is common knowledge that he is the son of #Lord #Shiva and #Goddess #Parvathi.
But there are different theories about his birth but the most popular one is that #Goddess #Parvathy made him out of #sandalwood and put him on guard while she was bathing and he refused to let #Lord #Shiva in as it was his mother’s orders . #LordShiva asked his army to destroy him. The Middle Age The fall of the Roman Empire marked the beginning of a new age in the history of Europe and most historians refer to it as the Dark Ages or the Middle Age. The name Dark Age was given by the Italian scholar and poet Petrarch as during this time he felt Latin literature and art were declining. This has come under question as the name is used to denote the period from5th to 10th centuries where there were intermittent periods of intellectual advance and periods of lull. The Vietnam War was the longest war that the USA was involved in. Vietnam is a nation in South East Asia bordering the Indonesian peninsula. During the First World War the Japanese attacked it and wanting to free itself from the French colonial power and Japan HO Chi Minh inspired by communist ideals set up the Viet Minh or League of independence for Vietnam. Japan lost the war and backed out of Vietnam. Seizing this opportunity Ho Chi Minh wanted to set up a government independent of other countries. Emperor Bao Dai was in control of Vietnam at this time.
