Aryabhatta the Indian genius Mathematician

The Indian Trail Blazer in Asronomy. India is the home of many firsts and astronomy is one of them. When we talk of the science of astronomy the first name that comes to mind is that of Aryabhatta. We share some of the lesser known and interesting facts about this astronomer. He was born in 476 A.D. and lived during the Gupta Age. It is a well known fact that this period was termed as the Golden period in Indian History and rightly so since most of the famous inventions and treatises on different subjects were written I this age.
