Helen Keller

Helen Keller Helen Keller is probably one of the most well known differently abled people. Though she was not born with a handicap she was forced to live a life of darkness and soundlessness all her life Her misfortune at an early age taught her to circumvent obstacles that came her way and nothing deterred her will to live life to the full. As a teenager she met Mark Twain and he fostered her writing desires. He introduced to his daughter as well as her long time companion Anne Sullivan. She was very comfortable with the author as he never made her feel incapable of achievement. Her secretary and teacher Anne Sullivan taught her to read and with her help she qualify from one of the leading British universities. For more info visit: https://www.youtube.com/theopenbook
